In Q3 2021, the top 5 food delivery services in Egypt demonstrated varying trends in downloads and active user numbers. Here’s a closer look at their performance based on data from Sensor Tower.

Food, grocery & more saw a significant peak in weekly downloads, reaching around 86K in mid-July. However, there was a gradual decline towards the end of the quarter, finishing with approximately 52K downloads. The app maintained a high level of weekly active users, peaking at nearly 975K in mid-July but settling around 857K by the end of September.

elmenus experienced a steady increase in weekly downloads, culminating in over 30K downloads in mid-September. The app's weekly active users mirrored this trend, growing from about 193K at the start of the quarter to 223K by the end.

Jumia Food - Food delivery had a notable spike in weekly downloads, peaking at about 22K in mid-July. The active user base also increased significantly, from around 47K at the beginning of July to nearly 100K by the end of September.
